Obituary for Eunice Dixie Short Eunice Dixie Short, age 82, passed away May 24, 2018 at Skyline Hospital. She was born in Hendersonville and lived most of her life in Rutherford County. Eunice was preceded in death by her grandchild, Lillian Nicole Honeycutt; sisters, Georgie George, Ruhama Sisco, Hallie Anderson, Dot Burnett, and Ruthene Marlin; and brothers, William Green Mitchell, Hubert Mitchell, and Henry Mitchell. She is survived by her son, William Powell (Dannette) Short and Deborah Fay Honeycutt; sisters, Mildred Farmer and Annette Boyd, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
