Rita Faye Metcalf March 2 1968 – May 11 2018

Obituary for Rita Faye Metcalf Rita Metcalf, 50, of Easley, orginally Asheville, NC, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 11th, 2018. She is survived by her children Robert Metcalf (Deray), Timothy Metcalf, Rocky Metcalf, and Kristi Wardlaw (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Destiny, Davon, Davanna Wardlaw, Kelsey, Colton, Draysun, and Memphis Metcalf, and Juliette Mergel; her loving sisters, Linda Anderson (Mark) and Gail Welch (Ramona); and great nephews, Dillon and Damion Lark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lewis and Lois Gaddy; and her niece, Lisa Lark. Rita loved life and those around her. She had a spontaneous streak, but her calendar alway had Bingo and the race track on it. Rita inherited her love for Bingo from her Dad. The race track was something she picked up along the way, but she tried to pass her love of the races down to her grandchildren. Rita also loved grilling out and going to the park with her kids and grandchildren. She kept extra busy during the fall watching her Gamecocks play football. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family will be receiving friends and family at The Palmetto Mortuary on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at The Palmetto Mortuary 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, South Carolina 29607 on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Join the family at Graceland West Memorial Park,4814 White Horse Road, Greenville. 29611 immediately following the Funeral Service.
