Obituary for John Aldridge Jr. Gaffney — John Samuel Aldridge Jr, 61, of 138 Crestmont Drive, passed away Wednesday, May 30th, 2018, at his home. Born in Charlotte, he was the husband of Tammy Patterson Aldridge and the son of the late John Samuel Aldridge Sr. and Lilly Pauline Johnson Aldridge. Mr. Aldridge formerly worked construction with SRE and AME and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Aldridge is survived by two sons, John S. Aldridge III and Eddie Aldridge; one daughter, Dana Aldridge; one step-daughter, Brandy Jean Muscatell; one step-son, Bradley Dewayne Crowe; three sisters, Joanne Vance and husband, Arnold, Joyce Rick, and Judy Hallman; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Douglas Aldridge. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Little Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. James Humphries and Rev. Jerry Wayne Patterson Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. The family will be at their respective homes.
