Angie Nell Parler Weathers February 2 1925 May 21 2018 (age 93)

Angie Nell Parler Weathers, 93, widow of Allen Kirkland Weathers, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the St. George Health Care Center. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. George Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Haskell Parler officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service in the cemetery. Nell was born on February 2, 1925 in Harleyville, a daughter of the late John Haskell and Ella Dorcas Harley Parler and was the last living grandchild of Cow Bill Harley, founder of Harleyville. She was a graduate of Harleyville High School, was a member of Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by siblings, Ella Marie Parler, Fred Dempsey Parler, Bell Byrd, Hugh Parler, Sr., Lary Parler, St. Clair Parler and Leslie Parler. Surviving are her two sons, Gene (Cindy) Weathers and Billy Weathers; grandchildren, Bryan (Sims) Weathers and Derek (Julie) Weathers; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Rylee Weathers and McCoy and Cash Weathers. Memorials may be made to Dorchester Academy, 234 Academy Road, St. George, SC 29477, Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church, 857 Duncan Chapel Road, Bowman, SC 29018 or a charity of one’s choice.
