Larry L. Palmer of Rogers, OH passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 8:05 a.m. in Salem West Healthcare Center. He was 82. Larry was born in Painesville, OH on May 26, 1935, the son of the late Walter and Leah Stone Palmer. He attended Riverside School Systems. Mr. Palmer was of Protestant faith. He was a qualified and highly revered farrier. Larry enjoyed constructing leather harnesses, buying and selling horses, and training and showing draft horses along side his loving wife for many years. He had a passion for horses, and saved hundreds of horses over the years that had acquired a case of founder disease. He is survived by his wife Carolyn “Lynn” Harrison Palmer, whom he married in 1965. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Stearns.
