Obituary for Joseph Angelo DeGard Jr. Joseph Angelo DeGard, Jr., 59, of Epsom passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 17, 1958 to the late Stella and Joseph DeGard. Joe was a family man who would talk to anybody and loved hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. He had a small farm and loved all the animals on the farm. Joe is survived by his wife, Wendy Shearin DeGard; sons, Josh DeGard, Jeremy DeGard, Joseph DeGard III, Josh Braswell, and Ronnie Braswell, Jr. ; his daughter, Autumn ; a brother, John DeGard; and a sister, Stella Giles and her husband Bob. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549..
