Obituary of Paul Rodrigues Paul Joseph Rodrigues, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, after an extended illness. He passed at his home in Addison, New York, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born in Corning Hospital on March 19,1943 to Joseph and Doris (Coles) Rodrigues. He was an altar boy at St. Vincent’s Church and a 1957 graduate of St. Vincent’s Catholic School. He graduated Northside High School in 1961. Paul attended x-ray school at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira and proceeded to work as an x-ray technician at Arnot Ogdon Hospital. He worked five more years in various hospitals in the Washington D.C. area. Paul returned to Corning in 1972 and worked as a lab and process technician for Corning Glass Works until his retirement in 2001.He married Diane Fetkowitz, an elementary teacher, on August 21,1976, at St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church in Deer Park, New York. The couple settled and raised their family in Addison, where Paul was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena. He is survived by his wife Diane; two sons, John Rodrigues of Endicott, NY and Michael Rodrigues of Corning; grandchildren, Robin, Benjamin, and Arya Rodrigues. Private funeral services will be held at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. in Corning. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Corning. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Paul’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org. Paul’s family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
