Joseph Arsenault 1940 2018

Obituary of Joseph Arsenault Joseph Arsenault, 77, of Milan, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at his home. Born on October 2, 1940, in Milan, NY, he was the son of the late Philip and Gladys (Ackert) Arsenault. Joseph married Margaret Young on November 14, 1959 at Good Shepherd Church in Rhinebeck. Margaret survives at home. For over 20 years, Joseph served at the highway superintendent for the Town of Milan. Joseph was a member avid collector and restore of vintage farm tractors. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Rosemary (Companion: Mark Churton) Fazzina of Milan, NY, Teresa (William) VanTassell of Livingston, NY, Annette (Rick) Coon of Milan, NY, Joseph C. Arsenault of Milan, NY, and Karen (Michael) Stanhope of Tivoli, NY; his siblings, Philip “Butch” (Gloria) Arsenault of Livingston, NY, William (Louise) Arsenault of Red Hook, NY, Nancy Young of Elizaville, NY, and Barbara Borneman of Rhinebeck, NY; fifteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A brother, Robert Arsenault, and two sisters, Ada Barry and Linda Russell, predeceased him. Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 from 5-8 PM. A celebration of Joe’s life will begin at 7:45 pm. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to the Milan Rescue Squad, 250 Williams Road, Milan, NY 12571.
