Mary T. Kleine died peacefully on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at the age of 92. Born in Jersey City, NJ on July 10, 1925 and former resident of New Hyde Park, NY and parishioner of the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in New Hyde Park, NY. She has resided at the Allendale Community for Senior Living in Allendale, NJ since 2011. Mary was a graduate of Our Lady of Victories Grammar School and Henry Snyder High School in Jersey City, NJ. She was employed by the Arvey Corporation in Jersey, NJ after graduation from High School. On July 19, 1952, in Greenwich, Connecticut she was married to Raymond G. Kleine, who was a salesman for the Sunshine Biscuit Company in Long Island, NY. They lived in a home on Surrey Lane in New Hyde Park, NY and they were members of the Keystone Yacht Club in Woodmere, NJ. Mary was predeceased by her husband in 1969 and her parents Anna E. and Frank J. McMahon of Jersey City, NJ, her brother Joseph F. McMahon and sister-in-law Florence Adele (McDermott) McMahon, her sister, Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Kiel and husband Harry Kiel. After the death of her husband Mary worked for the Schenk Transportation Bus Company in Long Island, NY. She is survived by her brother Frank J. McMahon, his wife Patricia (Walsh)., her niece Mary C. Keller and husband Robert, and three nephews, Frank McMahon and wife Jeanmarie (DeAnnuntis), Patrick McMahon and his wife Kristen (Accordino), and Richard C. McMahon and his wife Caroline (Speak) and 11 great nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey, NJ. Interment will follow at Mt. Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing, NY.
