Obituary for Robert L. Campbell Robert L. Campbell, 91 years old, of Raynham, died in his home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He is the husband of Vida (Atkins) Campbell. Robert was born in Mt Hope Hospital, Dighton, son of the late Herbert and Matilda (Lounsbury) Campbell. He was life long resident of Raynham. He attended Raynham Grammar Schools and was a graduate of Taunton High School. For over 30 years he was employed by the Commonwealth of MA, DPW. He retired as a Maintenance Foreman from District 6. He served in the U S Navy during WW II. Robert attended the Calvary Chapel of Raynham. He was a former Trustee of the Church. Robert also was a member of Massachusetts National Guard. He is survived besides his wife Vida, his children. Robert L. Campbell, Jr. and his wife Jane of Dighton, Scott A. Campbell and his wife Cynthia of Raynham, Paul D. Campbell and his wife Linda of West Wareham, and Mathew D. Campbell of Taunton. He is the grandfather of ten and the great grandfather of 5. He was the brother of Shirley Metthe of NY and the late Donald, Kenneth, and Lawrence Campbell. He is the uncle of several. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Service in Calvary Chapel of Raynham, 1002 Broadway, Raynham, on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 11AM. Interment will be in Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham. Visiting hours are omitted. The Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, is assisting the Campbell’s with these arrangements. Donations in his memory may be made to El Rancho Del Rey, C/O Calvary Chapel of Raynham.
