Maxine Head 2018

Maxine Head, 78, of Owensboro died Saturday May 12, 2018 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Daviess County on March 17, 1940 to the late Clarence Veach and Elizabeth Young Keith. Maxine was retired from Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital and was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie McCarthy; and a brother, Jesse Willard Keith, Jr. Survivors include two sons, Donald Brown, Jr. of Owensboro and Kenneth Brown (Pam) of Pellville, KY; a daughter, Felicia Wimsatt (Joey) of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Paris of Kuttawa, KY and Larry Paris (Joyce) of Mt. Vernon, IN; three sisters, Emogene Paris of Owensboro, Ruth Ann Belcher (Jerry) of Owensboro and Becky Englehardt of Brentwood, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Ln., Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
