Obituary of Elsie Gambrel A funeral service for Elise M. Gambrel, 83, of Louisville, KY. will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1 PM at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 19th and Market Street, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. She passed away May 29, 2018. Elise was born September 9, 1934 in East Bernstadt, KY to parents Jim and Anna McGee. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Gambrel. She is survived by her children, Charles Gambrel (Christine), Judy Gambrel, Lisa Gambrel, Linda Merriman, and Larry Gambrel; sister, Bobbie McGee; and 20 grandchildren.
