Kevion Martece Boyce, 18, of Steubenville, OH died Monday, May 21, 2018, at the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville. Born June 21, 1999, in Burlington, he was the son of Antwion Ward and Leakeeysah McClurkin. He loved music, rapping, dancing and making videos. He was always smiling and was positive and self-confident in everything he did. Survivors include his mother, Leakeeysah McClurkin of Burlington; father, Antwion Ward of Wisconsin; two brothers, Ketwion Maurice Boyce and Kewion Marquis Boyce both of Iowa; maternal grandparents, Maurica Taylor of Burlington, and grandfather, Charles McClurkin of Chicago, IL; four uncles, Bryan McClurkin, Tsayad (Kesha) McClurkin, Gibbor McClurkin, and Marquis Boyce all of Illinois; two aunts, Akeelah Boyce and Micole McClurkin both of Illinois; and seven cousins, Naelah Boyce, Elijah Marquis Boyce, Imanni McClurkin, Nikaya McClurkin, Nylen McClurkin, Tsaya McClurkin and Tsayad McClurkin II. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. The funeral service for Kevion will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Lawrence L. Manson officiating. A memorial has been established.
