Obituary of Ronald Pearson Ronald “Ron” D. Pearson, 70, Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away on May 9, 2018. He was born in Van Wert, Ohio, on February 16, 1948, to the late Howard and Harriett (Stripe) Pearson and graduated from Van Wert High School in 1966. He married Deborah Irving, who is from Marion, Indiana. As a young man, Ron learned construction from his Grandpa Stripe, whom he was very close to. This led to a life in management and construction. After he retired, he moved south to warm weather. He will be deeply missed by family and friends, but especially missed for his positive attitude and smile. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Pearson; daughter, Leslie (Brent) Leininger; granddaughter, Quincie Leininger; grandsons, Cole and Kray Leininger; and his paw companions, Carolina and Carlos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cletus and Norma (Gribbler) Stripe, as well as Isaac and Amy (Carr) Pearson. The family will receive visitors from 10 to 11 a.m. with Ron’s funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Pastor Randy Carlisle will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
