Bernarda LaBerge August 19, 1924 – May 18, 2018 Bernarda “Aunt B” LaBerge, 93, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:30 pm in her home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm and Wednesday from 8:30 am till 9:30 am at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360. She was born August 19, 1924 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Frank and Anna (Przybylinski) Bolka. On November 25, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Francis LaBerge, who preceded her in death on November 4, 2001. Surviving are niece, Dodie (Daniel) Dieter of Michigan City, Indiana along with many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter, Agnes LaBerge; Two brothers, Carl and Thomas Bolka; Four sisters, Elgain Stinson, Freida Szynalski, Irene Lubs and Stella Burkhart; Bernarda was a member St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana. She retired after 32 years as an electric welder from Interstate Metals, Michigan City, Indiana. She enjoyed tap dancing and listening to uplifting music.
