NATHANIEL ISAAC SMITH Nathaniel Isaac Smith, 33, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday (May 23, 2018) in his home. Born April 22, 1985 in Quincy, Nathan was the son of Billy Joe Smith Jr. and Joyce Ann Scott. Nathan attended Quincy High School and enjoyed playing video games. He had been employed as a Sous Chef at HuHot Mongolian Grill in Columbia, Missouri. Survivors include his father Billy Joe Smith Jr. (Christine) of Quincy; three brothers, Caleb Smith of Quincy and Billy Joe Smith III and James Smith, both of Hannibal, MO; a sister, Mackenzie Smith of Quincy; and his paternal grandparents, Billy Joe Smith Sr. (Janie) of Taylor, MO. Also surviving are several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Nathan was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Ann Scott. Cremation has been accorded to Nathan. The family will host a celebration of Nathan’s life on Thursday evening at 6:00 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra, Missouri with Pastor Wes Gehrke officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
