Mark Charles Riley II, 26, of Galesburg, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at home. He was born August 1, 1991, in Galesburg, the son of Mark Charles and Rose Mary (Jackson) Riley Sr. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Rose of Galesburg; two children, a son, Skylar and daughter, Ava, both in Iowa; four siblings, Jackie (Katie) Cook of Macomb, Rebecca Cook of Galesburg, Thomas Riley of Farmington, and Robert Riley of Galesburg; two grandfathers, George Jackson of Galesburg and Robert Riley of Lowry City, Missouri; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Pauline Jackson and Norma Jean Elizabeth Riley and an uncle, Richard Jackson. Mark was raised in Galesburg and attended Galesburg schools. He worked at Dick Blick. He was an artist, focusing on drawing. He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, camping, and fishing. Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.
