Blaine “Bud” Skeen, 69, passed away May 6, 2018 at in Brigham City, Utah from liver cancer. He was born May 24, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Blaine Elmer and Wanda Manilla Croft Skeen. Bud attended school in Richmond, Utah and graduated from Morgan High School on June 30, 1969. He married Murreleen Bigler and they were blessed with five children. They were later divorced. He was a certified welder. He worked for Utah Power & Light and helped build Preston High School and West Side High School. He welded many ornamented and iron gifts for the family that will always be cherished. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his five children: Erik (Pam) Skeen, Claine (Teresa) Skeen, Anitra Skeen, Nathan (Brandy) Skeen, Karston Skeen; by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, two sisters, Val (Robert) Hendricks of Brigham City, Utah and Margaret (LaVern) Talbot of Winder, Idaho; and by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Beckstead for the care he gave Bud and a special thanks to Community Nursing Service (Hospice)- Vikki, Jason,Misti, Dan and Shantel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery, 4590 W. 950 N.,Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:30-11 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
