He is survived by his siblings, Mary Schoepe (62), Tony (61), James (60), Michael (57), and Joann Boyle (54). Bill and Mary met at Game 1 of the 1986 METS World Series at Shea Stadium in NY and were married in 1990. The young couple decided to move to Atlanta to start a family shortly thereafter where they successfully opened and operated a chain of Deli’s in Marietta and downtown Atlanta known as “Murphy’s Deli”. After a successful 10-year stint, Bill sold the deli’s and purchased a small Pool Service Business called TLC Pools and Spa’s in Marietta. Bill and Mary operated their businesses as a team while raising 3 active young men who they playfully referred to as “my 3 sons”. Bill and Mary were very active and engaged parents as all the boys excelled in Baseball, Track, and especially, Wrestling, while working their summers at TLC Pools. They were regular attendees at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta and the 3 boys attended Lassiter HS in Marietta. Patrick and Ryan graduated from Ole Miss University and Connor is a senior at Georgia Southern. In Bill’s leisure time, he loved to cook, enjoyed off shore fishing with his close friends, and was a diehard Braves and Falcons fan. He spent much of his leisure time together with his wife, Mary and his extended family fishing, swimming, and white water rafting on the Nantahala. Bill was a tireless owner/ operator of his business and was very involved in his Boys lives, both athletically and academically. He was a little league baseball coach, a member of every booster program, and a steady volunteer chef at the Transfiguration Parish. He was a devoted husband to Mary and a “rock” of a father to his boys. He was a generous and supportive brother to his siblings and a terrific uncle to all of their 13 children.
