Obituary of Marta Camacho April 12, 1962 – April 30, 2018 Lifelong Resident of Santa Cruz A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Santa Cruz on Monday, May 7, 2018, for Marta Camacho, who passed away at Dominican Hospital following a very brief illness. Born in Dinuba, California, she recently celebrated her 56th birthday. Marta moved to Santa Cruz a youngster, and graduated from Soquel High School. She married Jose Patricio Camacho in 1983. Her family will always continue to share the many memoires of Marta’s love for shopping. She could always be found at local malls and clothing stores throughout the county, consistently finding the best deals. She will be remembered as loving mother and wife, and cherished sister, niece and friend. She is survived by her husband Jose, her daughter Dalila, son-in-law Juan Carlos and grandchildren; Melanie, Natalie, and Bryan, all of Santa Cruz. Marta also leaves countless loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins residing in California and Mexico. Friends may pay their respects at a viewing to be held on Sunday May 6th at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Monday, beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will be private at Oakwood Memorial Park.
