During the early morning hours of April 16, 2018, at the young age of 39, the disease that had taken Star’s joy and sparkle also took her life. Star was a much-loved mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandchild, niece, aunt, and friend. Losing her so early has broken our hearts and left a huge hole in our futures. Her family, friends, and loved ones will remember her for the funny, intelligent, beautiful, and strong-willed person that she was. Star was born in Layton, Utah on November 22, 1978. She attended Roy High School. Star completed schooling as a nail technician. Star is survived by her daughter, Jade Kelley; her longtime companion Paul Faddis; her Mother Linda Molina; her brothers: Joe Guzman, Raymond Guzman (Sheila), John Rea; her sisters: TinaMarie Molina, AnnaMichelle Molina (BJ), and Mr. and Mrs. Bianca Molina (Braden Blair). Her close cousin Andy Guzman who she considered a brother. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew. Uncles: Tony Rivas, DeLloyed Rivas (Godfather), Louie Guzman, Ambrose Jr. Erebia, and Tony Garcia. Aunts: DeAnn Rivas and Janet Garcia. Many cousins. Her childhood friends Charlotte, Anna, and J’lene who she considered her true friends. And so many other friends (too many to name.) Star loved her daughter Jade deeply and spoiled her. Jade is Star’s pride and joy and always wanted the best for her. Star supported Jade’s love for soccer and very proud of her academics. Star loved her mom so much and showed it all the time. She would call her everyday. Star adored her mom to the fullest. Star loved spoiling her nephews Elijah, Tristan, and Liam and nieces NeriyahMonroe and JazlynnRenae. In addition to loving her family, Star had a passion for her animals. She will be dearly missed by her dogs Romeo, Rosco, Lily, and her two kittens Iree and Zion. Star loved the outdoors. She loved camping with family and friends where there was trees and water. Star loved fishing, driving and riding in her Razor. She loved going to Wendover. She enjoyed listening to Bob Marley. Star loved growing plants and having a garden in her backyard. She loved faires and fairy gardens. Star was deeply caring and would always be remembered for her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and important. She cared about everyone she didn’t care about the material items. Star loved having visitors. She was just full of joy. Star left us unexpectedly too soon and she will be missed dearly. It was such a joy to have her with us. Even through all the troubles and obstacles that she endured she loved life and lived it to fullest. Star is preceded in death by Grandma Sadie Guzman Erebia, Grandpa Amado B. (Mickey) Garcia, Grandpa Jack Faddis, Aunt Paula Erebia, Aunt Antoinette Erebia and Uncle Eloy Garcia. Star’s family will be holding a viewing and celebration of life on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018, from 6-8 PM a viewing on April 25th from 10-10:45 followed by the funeral starting at 11 AM. All events will be at 331 South 50 West Kaysville, Utah.
