Obituary for Rachel Mae “Mable” Swapp
Rachel Mae Swapp “Mable”
Our sweet sister, daughter, crazy aunt, and loyal friend, Rachel Mae Swapp, passed away with her family by her side on a calm morning, Wednesday March 28, 2018. Her beautiful soul will help us always believe in the bright side and that better times are just around the corner.
Rachel grew up in Orem, UT and made such a positive impression on everyone she met. All who knew Rachel was touched by her unconditional love and unjudgmental friendship. Her special friends remained close over the years.
Her favorite subject in school was Family and Childhood Development. She exemplified that in her fun-loving relationships with her nieces, nephews, and friends’ children. Her pure love for kids followed through the years as a nanny, and she never missed a day of work.
Born Oct. 30, 1987 to Rory Swapp and Tamra Rowley, Rachel was always a free spirit. Rachel has two sisters who were her best friends: Raelin (Josh) Blauvelt and Tracie (Dustin) Lewis. She’s also survived by her brother, Takoda Swapp and three nephews: Jason Blauvelt, Kendon and Grady Lewis who’ll miss playing Slap Jack. Her 2 nieces, Dylan and Pyper Blauvelt.
Rachel taught us that it’s okay to be “unapologetically me”, to be loud, have crazy moments, look for the adventures in life, and that there’s always something to be grateful for. She will be remembered as the most loving, vibrant, fearless, brave, and understanding person. Rest peacefully our beautiful Mable.
Friends and Family may gather at The Barn and Nursey in Lindon, 535 N. State St. for a celebration of Rachel’s life on Friday April 6, 2018 from 4-7.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rachel Mae Mable Swapp October 30 1987 March 28 2018.SOURCE
