William Bill & Darlene Koble 2018

William L. Koble was born on April 28, 1935 and passed away on December 15, 2017. Darlene V. Koble was born on September 4, 1944 and passed away on March 7, 2018 Natalie- their loyal dachshund, passed away in January of 2018 Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas 75154 with Reverend Don Smarto officiating. Bill and Darlene were married on April 10, 1976. They kept their vows to each other for 42 wonderful years. Together they had 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren and their faithful canine companion, Natalie. They built a legacy that will continue for many years to come. Bill served in the National guard for 4 years and worked for Coca-Cola for 25 years. He was a “South Philly Boy” and was proud of it! Bill enjoyed being outside and taking care of his rose bushes and tomato plants. His garden was always beautiful. Bill was also an avid sports fan. You could find him relaxing on his couch watching the Philadelphia Eagles or the Atlanta Braves play. Every year during the Christmas season, Bill would decorate their house so much so, it would put Clark Griswold to shame. Darlene would enable and encourage this, because she loved Christmas just as much as Bill. They even won their neighborhood Christmas decorating contest…every year. The neighborhood eventually stopped giving them the award so other people would have a chance to win. Darlene was Bill’s other half. They enjoyed spending time together and making memories. Darlene enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramic painting. She paid attention to every detail and everything she completed was a masterpiece. Darlene also loved to cook and sew for her family. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Together, Bill and Darlene taught everybody how to have a faithful and loving marriage. They were so loved by their family and will be very missed. Bill and Darlene are survived by their daughters, Marylyn Koble and her husband, Aaron Casto of Ovilla, Texas, Amelia Salazar and her husband, Martin of Farmers Branch, Patricia Hepler and her husband Andy of San Antonio; grandchildren, Marialyn Bonilla, Jesse Salazar, Abrie Salazar, Erick Salazar, Melissa Proscia and Tammy Massey; several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
