Obituary for Patrick Alan Westphal Patrick Alan Westphal, 62, formerly of Goliad, died Monday, April 2, 2018 in San Antonio. Pat was born February 7, 1956 in Karnes City to Gaylord & Milledean Westphal. After his school years in Goliad, he joined the United States Coast Guard & was stationed in Puerto Rico & Port Aransas. He took art lessons from Dalhart Windberg and enjoyed creating art throughout his life, whether it was creating paintings, billboards, or signs. Most recently he held a hazmat truck-driving job in the oil field industry. Pat is survived by his mother and stepfather, P.A. Albrecht of Goliad; his wife, Ginger; son, Jeffrey of Marble Falls; stepson, Jeremy White; grandson, Hunter Westphal; and by his brother, Tim and wife Connie of Goliad. He was proceeded in death by his father and brother, Mike Westphal. Honorary pallbearers will be his niece and nephews, Amy Westphal, Chris Westphal of Austin and Eric Westphal of Goliad. The book with be available to sign starting at 9:00 am with the family available for a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, April 13th at Grace Funeral Home-Goliad. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on Pat’s name to any charity of your choice.
