David Scott “Scotty” Mincey, age 59, of Knoxville passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Scotty was a son, a brother, a uncle, and a friend. He always had a passion for cards, music, and UT football, which he shared with his family and friends. He lived life care free. Scotty was humorous, intelligent and cared for the ones he loved. He always had a smile on his face no matter what life put in his way. It’s the way he would want us to remember him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Peggy Acuff; his brother Steven Mincey and his nephew Justin and many aunts, uncles and cousins that will miss him very much.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 6 at Glen Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 510 East Oklahoma Avenue with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m.
