Trystan Robert Tomco, 22, of Aiken, SC, beloved son and brother to four siblings, suddenly joined the faithful departed on April 17, 2018. Advanced EMT for Aiken County and Aiken Rescue, he was due to graduate as a Paramedic in May 2018. Trystan volunteered a week of his vacation yearly since he was sixteen, to be a Counselor at MDA summer camps for children who have neuromuscular diseases. He was always helping others in any way he could.… Read More » He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his parents, Paul F. and Michelle Thewes Tomco, Aiken, SC; siblings, Paul “Ty” Tomco, Henderson, NV, Tia Tomco, Houston, TX and Trent Tomco and Taryn Tomco, both of Aiken, SC and grandfather, Frank J. Tomco, Lakewood, OH. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 5 until 8 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 125 Park Ave., SE Aiken, SC. (the old church) The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorials in Trystan’s honor be made to MDA Trent’s Team 2018.
