JILL W. KING Jill W. King, 71, of Piqua, passed away at 10:43 am Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1946 in Piqua to the late George and Rita (Grillot) Wasson. She married Stephen W. King August 31, 2003 in Arley, Alabama and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Danielle Krejci of Grove City; a son, Christian (Kristen) Hallows of Pickerington; three grandchildren, Kiefer King, Audrey Hallows, Hayden Hallows; and a brother, Jack (Gale) Wasson of Farmington Hills, Michigan. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Wion; and an infant daughter, Megan Marie Gerwig. Mrs. King was a 1964 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School and received her Associates Degree from Bliss Business College. She was a past member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked for many years in retail for Jacqueline Beck, Elder Beerman and Barclay’s. She was active in the March of Dimes and enjoyed fashion and decorating. She also enjoyed spending time with the “Last Chance Bridge Club”. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. A service to honor her life will begin at 6 pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lehman Catholic High School, 2400 St. Mary’s Ave., Sidney, OH 45365.
