DILLARD “RAY” COLE Dillard “Ray” Cole, 71, of Piqua, joined his Lord and Savior at 8:22 a.m. Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Ohio’s Hospice Inpatient Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1947 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Robert and Goldie (Witt) Cole. He married Florence Green October 8, 1965 in Sidney, and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Angela (Robert) Winsler of Piqua, Pamela Slusher of Brooksville, Florida; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Willard (Betty) Cole of Piqua; and three sisters, Gaye (Arthur) Bowser of Conover, Mary Ella Nimety of Tazwell, Tennessee, Sue Nimety of Piqua. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Cole retired from the Evenflo Company and was a member of Crossroads Church of God Mt. Assembly. He enjoyed playing guitar, hunting and was a gun enthusiast, active in sporting clubs and was just an “Old Car Nut”. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. A service to honor his life will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday April 23, 2018 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Wilson and Rev. Jason Hill co-officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Church of God Mt.
