Obituary of Bruce Diese
Bruce C. Diese, 89, passed away April 1, 2018 at his home. Born July 27, 1928 to Thomas C. and Gladys (Frick) Diese, Bruce graduated with a business degree and had been employed as an accountant with Falls Tool & Die. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Bailey Road Christian Church and the Patterson Park Plus 50 Club. Bruce was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed working in his yard.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Burton, he is survived by his wife Beverly Diese; sons Steve (Laurie) and Scott (Amy); daughter Sherrie (Bruce) Karem; grandchildren Krista (Brian) Rick, Jenna (Nathan) Miller, Michelle Karem, Leanne, Andrea, Kerianne, Derek and Rachael Diese; great-grandchildren Caden, Owen and Elliott Rick, Holly and Josephine Miller.
The family would like to thank Diane, Jeremy, Paula, Ola and the rest of the staff at Summa Hospice and the Stow EMTs for all their care and compassion.
Friends may call Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Brown will conduct services Thursday 11 AM at Bailey Road Christian Church, 3200 Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44221. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the church.
