Inez Bonanno 2018

Inez M. Bonanno, 91, of Metuchen, died on Friday, April 13, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Jersey City, Inez has resided in Metuchen for 54 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen. She was a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick and was a teacher at Moss School in Metuchen, before her retirement. Inez was active with the Metuchen Senior Citizens and AARP, as well as volunteering at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was a world traveler; she loved cooking, family and friends. She and her husband Salvatore R. celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death in 2000. Inez is survived by her daughters Angela Bonanno Such, Lucille Bonanno-Rogan and Lisa Campbell (Paul); her grandchildren Tamara, Jeffrey, Larissa (Christian), Colin (Nicole), Gregory (Elizabeth), Devin (Stephanie), Meghan, Connor and Maddie; her great-grandchildren Kaleigh, Bryce and Wesley. Services will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 9:45 AM from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middle Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen; followed by a 10:15 AM Funeral Mass at St. Francis Cathedral. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. To send condolences, please visit costello-runyon.com.
