Mrs. Pettit age, 93 loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 15, 1925 in River Rouge, Michigan to the late Elroy & Hazel (Bathgate) Vasher. Marion married Leslie Pettit on October 11, 1944 and preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her children Gordon (Gail) Pettit, Robert (Cynthia) Pettit, Marion-Mitzie (Al) Hewitt and Larry (Steve Albright) Pettit, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren ; brother and sister June Russell and Dennis Vasher also, her chosen children Darlene, Bernard, Rita and Barbara. She was preceded in death by a grandson Casey Pettit, 2 sons Dick Pettit and Tom Pettit; her siblings Connie Kosicky. Virginia Fredericks, Pearle Troxell and a brother in law Leonard Pettit
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 11 am from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home- PINCONNING CHAPEL with Pastor Roger Bauer presiding with burial in Gibson Township Cemetery. The family will be present at the at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm and Wednesday 10 am till time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Hope Lutheran Church-Children’s Camp Fund.
