Ricky E. Seibert, age 56, of Norwalk died Sunday morning at Unity Point Hospital in Des Moines. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. May 5th at O’Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk. Ricky’s Life Story Ricky, the son of Larry and Sandra (Thorsell) Seibert was born on October 8, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1980. Ricky was hired by Pioneer Hybrid in May of 1980. He worked there for nearly 27 years as a seed technician. He worked for Scott Foods for three years and most recently at Fareway, both in Norwalk. Ricky enjoyed building and collecting die-cast toy tractors. He enjoyed farming and going to farm toy shows, watching RFD TV, and spending time with family. Ricky was a proud father, always talking about his three children. Ricky died Sunday morning, April 29, 2018 at Unity Point Hospital in Des Moines. He lived 56 years, 6 months, and 21 days. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra; two sisters, Robyne and Tami; and a brother, Tim. He is survived by his three children Adam, Ashlee, and Shelby all of Norwalk; his father, Larry of Cumming; three siblings, Jill, Lesley, and Larry (Christie); and his long-time friend, Teresa.
