Patricia “Pat” Ellen Foley Devine, age 71; passed away peacefully at home, with family at her side after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Loving wife of many years to the late Richard John Devine; devoted mother to Daniel Morgan (Kathleen), Brendan John (Anna) Devine, and the late James Patrick Devine; baby sister to Alice, Norine, and Mary Ann (Walsh) Foley; doting grandmother “Ma” to Quinn, Ronan, Seamus, Delaney, Foley, and Danney Maeve Devine; and loyal friend to so many South Siders,… Read More » St. Louis Billikens, teachers, parishioners of Notre Dame, Old St. Patrick’s Church, Benet Academy Community, SASED, and Lake Hinsdale Village. Pat was the epitome of a servant leader, devoting her life to teach those with special needs in Chicago and especially at schools near her home, the Village of Clarendon Hills. She also enjoyed helping the Notre Dame Food Pantry, attending weekly bible study, and adventures with her grandchildren. Pat’s strong faith has comforted her and family, as we celebrate mom reuniting with her son, Jimmy. Visitation Thursday 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Friday 9:45 AM from Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 South Grant St. Hinsdale to Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk, Clarendon Hills. Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
