Obituary for Anna Mae Cramer
Passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, where she had been staying since March 29th. She as 95 years young.
Survived by daughters Lynda (LeRoy) Miller, Patricia (Todd-deceased) Jones, Diane (Caryn Best) Cramer and son Thomas (Tina) Cramer. Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her sister Rosemary Annzolin of Virginia and a brother-in-law Walter Cramer of Lockport. Also several nieces and nephews survive.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth Cramer (April 20, 2013), a sister Lois Legan of Idaho and a brother Jack of Chicago.
Anna Mae was born October 7, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Loetscher of Lockport. Graduate of Lockport High School Class of 1940. Following his return from military service, she married Kenneth F. Cramer on August 31, 1946 at St. Dennis Church in Lockport. Together they spent their entire life in Lockport raising their family. She lived her entire life in Lockport and most recently had her own apartment at the Timbers in Shorewood.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the donor’s choice will be appreciated.
