Herman Albert Lovato, entered into rest, surrounded by his loving family April 26, 2018 at the Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born to Chrisanta and Samuel Lovato, May 19, 1939, in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He was 78 years of age. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Virginia M. Lovato, parents, Chrisanta and Samuel Lovato, In-Laws Antonio and Pasqualita Ortega, grandson, Brett Lovato, great granddaughter, Nessa Muniz, and 9 brothers, one sister and one brother in- laws. Herman loved to gamble and especially loved his family. Herman Worked and retired from Coors. He was a Cattleman and a great horseback rider and a great dancer. He was a giver and a helping hand to anyone wo need it. He donated to the homeless, fed the hungry and liked to help the elderly. In his younger days Herman lifted weights and benched 365 lbs. He loved his family and he especially loved his wife Virginia. A 1:30 P.M. Rosary followed by a 2:00 P.M. Mass will be held Thursday, May 3, at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford Colorado Father Paul Ekeh will be officiating.
