Bethany (Smith) Benko, age 39, of DuBois, Pa., died March 24, 2018, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born on July 26, 1978, in Lexington, Ky. She was the daughter of Jill L. Smith, who survives, and David Brent Smith, who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of the Jeff Tech LPN nursing program. Bethany was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and will be missed by many.

Smith, of DuBois, Pa.; brothers: Ryan Smith, Justin Smith, Nathan Smith and Jameson Smith, all of DuBois, Pa.; sister, Ashleigh (Wesley) Conner of Richmond, Va.; grandmother, Shirley Smith; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her borfriend, Bryan Montowski.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, David Brent Smith; grandmother, Betty Jo “Nana” Gathagan; and grandfather, Raymond D. Smith.
She was a ray of sunshine in the lives of all who knew her. She was taken too soon, but is resting peacefully with her father. (Psalm 23). She was full of live, love and hope. She was passionate about music, being one with nature, and simply enjoyed having fun and laughing with her family and friends. Beth was a deep thinker with a free spirit who wholeheartedly believed our souls live on indefinitely.
Services were held at the Adamson Funeral Chapel in DuBois. Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
