Rita Helen (Ramirez) Yarasca, 80, passed in peace with her family by her side on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Vacaville, California. Rita was born March 24, 1938 in Redlands, CA to Manuel and Alberta Ramirez. Rita grew up in Calaveras, CA. She graduated Calaveras High School, Class of 1956 and attended San Joaquin Delta College. She later married Alberto Yarasca in Stockton, CA at St. George Catholic Church. She retired after 25 years of dedicated California State Service. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alberto Yarasca, siblings Alice Machuca (Fidel), Anne Barratt, Rosemary Mattock (Michael), Manuel Ramirez, John Ramirez (Dori), and Albert Ramirez, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at McCune Funeral Chapel in Vacaville, CA, with Visitation at 5:30 p.m. and a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 5 at 11am at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in Stockton, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association.
