Gerald G Greaves 2018

Gerald G. Greaves, age 92, of S. Broadway, East Providence, died March 23, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Lena (Ricci) Greaves. Born in Seekonk, MA, he was a son of the late Charles S. and Anna (Amaral) Greaves.
He proudly served our country during WWII with the US Navy Armed Guard. He was owner of G.G. Greaves Construction for 47 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Donald Rinaldi of FL, his son and daughter-in-law Gerald and Lisa Greaves of SC, 4 grandchildren; Melanie Palmer, Michael Rinaldi, Amber Elias, Elizabeth Greaves, 8 great grandchildren; Kelsey, Darren, Paige, Sydney, Abigail, Leo, Miles and Dell and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Charles Greaves, Raymond Greaves, Robert Greaves and Henry Greaves.
His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in St. Martha’s Church, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in his memory be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904
