Alfonso Pagnozzi, Sr., 98, died Friday, March 23, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Lucrezia “Grace” (Ciliberto) Pagnozzi and son of the late Orlando and Eugenia (Ronga) Pagnozzi. He attended NE Technical School and was employed as a tool maker with Kenney Manufacturing, retiring in 1985. He was a WWII Army veteran, serving in the Medical Corp., and was a fourth degree K of C St. Michael Council. He is survived by his children Orlando “Lanny” Pagnozzi and his wife Edna, Alfonso Pagnozzi, Jr. and his wife Helen, and Paula Koerner and her husband Donald; his siblings Edith Santilli, Rose Autiello, Anna Demus, Gloria Grantmaier, Jennie Mollicone, Barbara Fiore, the late Onofrio “Sonny” Pagnozzi and Mary Martone. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9-10:30 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
