Obituary of Walter Paul
Walter T. Paul, 61, a long-time Skippack, PA resident, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Lynne (Dutton) Paul, would have observed their 33rd wedding anniversary on August 3 of this year.
Born November 29, 1956 in Queens, NY, he was a son of the late Walter J. Paul and Mary (Ronan) Frankhouser. He was a 1974 graduate of St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay, and received his associate degree from Montgomery County Community College. He was employed with Pulse Technologies of Quakertown, PA.
Walter loved music and was a faithful follower of the Grateful Dead. He enjoyed long walks with his pup Heidi, cooking (and eating!), and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova Wildcats.
In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters, Lurene J. Leonard and her husband, A. J., and their son, Killian, of North Wales, PA, and Rachel L. Paul of Skippack. He is also survived by a sister, Lynda Rebarchak and her husband, Jim, of Harleysville, PA; a sister-in-law, Kate Paul of Quakertown; a step brother, Eric Frankhouser; a step sister, Diana Locke; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Paul.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11AM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, where family will receive friends for the viewing from 9:30AM until 10:45AM. Burial will be private at a later date.
