Verna L Johnson 2018

Verna L. Johnson, 80, of Upper Nazareth Township, formerly of Easton, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 in The Gardens at Easton.
Born August 6, 1937 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Earl Beers and Adele (Stull) Handlovic.
She and her husband, Harry J. Johnson, Jr., celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 3, 2017.
Verna was a graduate of Wilson High School.
She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the family cabin in Pike County. Verna enjoyed bingo and going to casinos, flea markets and auctions.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Harry J. “Jim” Johnson and his wife Cindy Lou, of Wilson Borough; three brothers, Joe Handlovic and his wife Rose, of Easton, Jack and George Handlovic, both of Forks Township; a sister, Susie Zamper, of Florida; a grandson, Brian Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Brent, Evyn and Aubrey. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Holly Marie Johnson, and two brothers, Mike Handlovic and Earl “Tex” Beers.
Private services are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
