Obituary of Pero Jovic
Pero Jovic, 63, of Swatara Township, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in MS Hershey Medical Center.
He was a retired employee of the PA Dept. of Transportation and a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin.
Pero enjoyed going to Home Depot, Lowes and numerous auctions. He was very handy, helpful and had the ability to fix anything. He truly loved his four grandchildren.
Pero was the son of the late Milan and Mara Maljenovic Jovic and is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Ruzica Jovic; one daughter, Jelena Heagy and husband, Christopher of Steelton; one son, Igor Jovic and wife, Jennifer of Camp Hill; two brothers, Bozidar and Mirko Jovic, both of Serbia; three sisters, Mileva Jovic and husband, Milan of Camp Hill; Savka Veselich and husband, Slavko of Serbia, and Staka Trgic of Slovenia; four grandchildren, Kyla, Luka, and Mateo Jovic and Sofia Heagy; best friends, Ilija and Pavica Kozulovic; nephew, Daniel Kozulovic and wife, Jamie; and nephew, Dejan Jovic.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, 601 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Christopher Rocknage, his Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.
