Juliana Porter 2018

Juliana Porter, 88, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. Born in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Almosdie) Suciu.
Juliana worked as an executive secretary at Exel Logistics for many years. She was a member and was very involved with Shiremanstown First Church of God. She was an avid baker, loved birds, had a great passion for gardening and was a huge Steelers fan. Most of all she cared very much about her family, always putting them first and adored being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Juliana is survived by; son, Eric Porter of CA; daughter, Lisa Colwell of Lewisberry; sister, Corneilla Sheaffer of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Jared Mateer, Renee Mecomber, Kirk Colwell, Sierra Stayton, Eric Porter Jr., Andrew Porter and Claire Porter; great grandchildren, Destiny, Kaycee, Brandon Mecomber, Jared Jr., Max, Ben Mateer, Natalie, Aubrey, Peyton Colwell and Kyleigh West. She was predeceased by; sisters, Sophie Lorenz, Mary Creznic, Victoria Hammacker, Helen Suciu, Dorothy Greinier; brother, Jimmy Suciu.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Harrisburg are handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family at, 107 W. Front St. Lewisberry, PA 17339 to help defray the costs of the funeral.
