Betty Zalesak Miles 2018

Betty Miles, 67, of Forks Township, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at her home.
Born September 30, 1950, in Fountain Hill, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Copes) Zalesak.
She and her husband, Barry J. Miles, Sr., celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on August 23, 2017.
Betty was last employed as a clinical research manager by Eric Schenkel, MD.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School and attended Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing.
Betty was an avid tennis player and loved reading, cooking, baking and traveling.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, BJ Miles, Jr., LCDR-US CG (ret.) and his wife Laura, ESQ of Bozeman, MT; a daughter, Lori A. Bankowski, VMD and her husband Richard, of Plainfield Township; two brothers, Joseph Zalesak and his wife Carol, of Hickory, NC and John Zalesak and his wife Terrie, of Tullahoma, TN; three sisters, Cathy Grygiel and her husband Richard, of Souderton, PA, Helen Schlauch and her husband Doug, of Woodlawn, MD and Anne Stocker and her husband Glenn, of Forks Township; two grandchildren, Grace and Luc Bankowski; her mother-in-law, Grace V. Miles, of Palmer Township; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Haney.
A calling hour will be held from 10-11am Thursday followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 234 Spring Garden Street, Easton. Burial will be in Forks Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
