Loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend
Waynesville-Margaret M. Gaddis, 98, passed away at the John F. Keever Solace Center, on Monday, March 26, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Caldwell, then, her second husband, James Gaddis, four brothers; Lawrence, Zeb, Ted and William Trammell, parents; Thomas and Ada Tracy Trammell, sister-in-law; Ruby Trammell, who she loved dearly, and her first niece; Louise Cook.
Margaret is survived by three daughters; Thomasine Tucker, Lureen (Harold) Ensley, Barbara (Johnny) Bradshaw, sister; Jean (Ned) Jones, six grandchildren; Keith (Patti) Tucker, Jeff (Katherine) Bradshaw, Steven (Angela) Ensley, Lisa (Nick) Smathers, Angela (Tim) Hickman, Pamela (Chris) Elliott, fifteen great-grandchildren; Hannah and Elijah Ensley, Mike (Brooke) Palmer, Adam (Kathryn) Smathers, Chris Palmer, Logan Smathers, Andrew (Morgan) Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Josh and Sierra Bradshaw, Sam, Tom, and Emma Hickman, Gus and Eva Grace Elliott and four precious great-great grandchildren; Marshall, Oliviah, Norah, Elainah, Gwendoline Colette arriving soon, and several nieces and nephews that were very dear to her.
She worked at Southwestern Child Development until her retirement in 1977 as a Child Care worker.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 30, 2018, at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial will follow services at Greenhill Cemetery.
