Obituary of Robert Felbinger
Felbinger, Robert John (82), of Egg Harbor City, passed peacefully in his home on Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born in January of 1936 to Raymond and Virginia Felbinger of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Bob Felbinger is survived by his wife, Bonnie; Children, Cheryl Dean, of Boca Raton, FL, Mark Felbinger, of Naples, FL, and Derek Felbinger, of Boca Raton, FL; Stepchildren, Stephanie Gauntt Dutkiewicz of Bridgeton, NJ, Dennis and Kerstin Gauntt of Ronceverte, W. VA., Terry Gauntt of Suffolk, VA. Bob was a grandfather to five children: Mark, Joey, Brennan and Nicholas Felbinger, and Sydney Dean; as well as to several step-grandchildren.
He was an U.S. Army veteran and had a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology. Bob’s work life included consulting work in national defense and the aviation industry. Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Bob’s biting wit and sense of humor was always welcome in any conversation. When called upon, his advice was always poignant and direct. He was above all else a loving husband, father, friend and confidant. He will be missed.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Wednesday, March 28th 2018 followed by a Memorial Service at 11am at the Christ Episcopal Church, 157 Shore Road, Somers Point NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, www.SupportVeterans.org. Arrangements by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood- Ventnor.
