Mary C Chiofalo 1922 2018

Obituary of Mary Chiofalo
Mary C. (DeMaio) Chiofalo, 95 of Landisville, NJ passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, surrounded by loved ones.
Mary graduated from Glassboro State College with a bachelor’s in elementary education. Teaching was her passion, as she made an impact on many lives in the Buena and Vineland School Districts for over thirty years, even substituting until she was well into her eighties.
In her prime, Mary enjoyed traveling the world, classical ballet and performing arts, dancing the jitterbug, having her nails done with lots of glitter and rhinestones, and being young at heart. Those who were in her closest circle must come to the realization that we will now never know what she got at the party store.
Mary is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jennie DeMaio; beloved husband of 48 years, Salvatore Chiofalo; her companion of 10 years, Bob Wheaton, and her cherished Bichon Frise, Sparkle.
Mary is survived by her devoted care-giver and daughter, Roberta (Chiofalo) Uniglicht; son, Salvatore Chiofalo Jr.; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Uniglicht) Salvati and her husband, Steven, Christopher Chiofalo, and Stephanie Chiofalo; and great-granddaughter, Casey Chiofalo, and all of her former students whom she considered her children.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to your local school district or a classroom project of your choice on in Mary’s memory.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Mary will be entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary
