Kathryn F. Farrell (Merton)-67 of Upper Township was called home to the Lord on March 20, 2018, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle against lung cancer.
Kathy was born in Atlantic City, NJ. She spent her younger years enjoying good times with cousins and friends in both Atlantic City and Brigantine. She attended Atlantic City High School and graduated in 1968.
Kathy was active in her community. She was an active member of Saint Maximilian Parish in Marmora. She was the director of Art/Environment for 20 years and a member of the Liturgical Committee and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Kathy also served as a group travel leader which permitted her to travel all over the world, making wonderful memories, with her dear friends and family.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael, and her two beloved daughters, Kate and Melissa. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Kitty and Harry Merton, and her younger brother, Stephen Merton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 9, 2018 at Saint Maximilian Parish in Marmara at 11AM, were friends may visit from 10AM to 11AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Saint Maximilian Parish- 200 Tuckahoe Road, Marmara, NJ 08223 and/or the American Cancer Society-NJ Division. For condolences to the family please visit www.godfreyfuneralhome.com
