Obituary of Joseph P. Feltz
Joseph P. Feltz, 96, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Jersey City to the late John and Bridget Feltz, he lived there and moved to Point Pleasant in 1968.
He worked for the Pennsylvania Rail Road/Amtrak, Penn Station, New York, and retired as a supervisor after forty-three years.
Mr. Feltz was a World War II, United States Army Air Force veteran; avid gardener; and was communicant of the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of seventy-three years, Josephine Deiuro Feltz; brothers, Teddy, Louie, John, Philip, and Rocco; and sisters, Marie, Josephine, and Jean.
Surviving is his daughter, JoAnn Feltz of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kenneth Kaminski and his wife Joanne and Erica Maves and her husband Jeffrey; and great-grandchildren, Kate, Samantha, Chandler, J.J., and Zachary.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 28 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
