Betty Lou Sandsmark 2018

Betty Sandsmark (nee Jeffer) died peacefully on February 27, 2018 at the Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, NJ at the age of 75. Betty is survived by her son Edward and his wife, Kathleen of Westmoreland, PA, her daughter Suzette Corrado and husband Mark of Saddle River, NJ and daughter BethAnn of Prairie Village, KS. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward and son Randy (2011).
Betty was born in Paterson, NJ to William Jeffer and Winifred (Bender) Jeffer. She was raised in Midland Park, NJ and Saugerties, NY. Always putting others before herself, she brought joy and a playful spirit to her many grandchildren; Scott, Stefanie, Michael, Nick, Joseph, Dean, and Luke and her many nieces and nephews. A mom and devoted friend to many, she always generously shared her energy and talents.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 AM at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to The Village School Endowment Fund, 100 West Prospect Street, Waldwick, NJ 07463 ( Please sign the online guestbook and share your memories of Betty on this memorial.
